AYOOO FINAL REFLECTION

 Hello people that like to read my point of view!

After long days of filming as well as long days of editing, it’s only fair for me to reflect on all the things I’ve learned. 

First things first, the most important lesson I learned throughout the course of this project is that time management is key. Unfortunately, I found myself rushing at some points to write a blog or even leaving a scene at the last minute and it really affected my overall strategies. Dealing with Coronavirus was also not easy as I could only use a limited amount of space as well as people, limiting the greatness of my vision.

More than that, I think the presence of a partner would have facilitated the project immensely as I now realize the amount of work put into the whole project. However, there’s nothing more satisfying than hitting the last submit button and finally letting all worries and stress out. It definitely is self-rewarding, especially when I did it all myself. 

It is safe to say I feel empowered with knowledge as entering this project I really had no idea the path it would lead me on. Today, I’ve mastered my skills in editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro, using lighting and audio adjustments, and even learning how to work a camera and microphone. 

Overall, this whole process has been exhausting but needless to say the end is worth it. I will definitely take a thing or two out of this journey and apply it in future events. 

Who knows... maybe a career…
