DIGIPACK: vinyl>>>>>>>>cd

After a small talk with our classmates, we came to the dilemma of how do we like our digipack. Vinyl or CD? Most people agreed on vinyl, me included; however, the final decision was on the members of Pluto, our band. They decided that they wanted to go with vinyl, which was great.

After their decision we started to do some drafts in class, which were pretty cool in my opinion.

SUCCESS

FILMING DAY WAS A WHOLE SUCCESS. We took a lot of footage that was awesome. Sadly, i cannot post all of the pictures here; however, I will leave the link down below of the google drive that we made for all of the pictures that we took today.

some issues that we ran into

Okay, so there is this happening. It is film day and as previously mentioned we were going to go to Las Olas beach to film. The thing is that we did not expect nor knew about the rain that was going to happen on that day. The point is that we are changing the location to Markham Park. We are going to this random ass place which is below the highway and it's pretty cool.

On the other hand, we are lowkey having issues with the band's availability. Jade, one of the guitarists, is probably not coming for the filming day. This is because she is arriving from a trip at like 2:30 pm, if I'm not wrong, and it would be complicated for her to be on time; plus she is probably tired. Additionally, Jack is apparently not able to go because of a family thing so that might be a thing. We will just have to wait until tomorrow to see if they would come or not.

I'm lowkey excited for this. okay bye.

SALIO EL PALO

Drum rolls, please. PAPAPAPAPAPAPAPA. THE FULL SONG IS FINALLY HERE. And guess what, I HAVE IT. And guess this. I WILL SHOW IT TO YOU.

Verse 1:

The murder of crows circles my home
They tell me it’s my time
I knock 3 times I pull 13
My feelings in-between
I can’t ignore it I cannot wait
I can’t control The crushing fate
I felt a shift a rising sea
The chaos taking control of me

Pre chorus:

Remember me
Remember me
Remember me

Chorus:

I can’t handle all these changes
Recall all my mishaps
Break the mirror see the
Black cat
Arrows in my head I think I am the living dead
Recall all my mishaps
Break the mirror see the
Black cat

Verse 2:

I take a breath and close my eyes
Try to think of blue skies
Come thunderclouds rain starts to pour
It rushes to my core
The river styx flows through my veins
Am I in hell? My life’s a play
Cut out my line Smash-cut the scene
I think I'm missing A part of me

la mal llamada llamada

Today we did like a follow-up call to catch up to see if everybody was on the same page for the schedule that we originally had planned. For the call, just two members of the band joined as well as our whole group, but that was more than enough for it. The call lasted around 30 minutes and it flowed so well. During the call, we discussed the location, the time, what to bring, and what we were going to do for the video. We decided that we would go to the beach for the location. More specifically Las Olas Beach in Ft. Lauderdale. It was going to be around 4:30 on Sunday. The band told us that they were going to come suited up for their outfits, which remembered me to HIMYM. To close up, it was stated that they were going to do much random stuff for the video as a whole, to which we thought was pretty cool.

that was it for the day. okay bye.

pd: lander was in new orleans when we did this call

i don't have anything else project related to blog about

Since I really don't know what to blog about, I will be talking about my trip to Gainesville over the first weekend of the break.

The trip started last Friday, the 18th. I had been planning this trip for like a month or so because I really wanted to go meet Gainesville. I was going with a friend and my friend's sister's boyfriend. The plan was to go for like 3 days and stay at my friend's sister's apartment, lucky for us, the plan was perfect. Also, it was the first road trip ever that I was driving. So Friday, I woke up around nine am ready to pack my things and pick up the people that were going with me. We hit the road at around 10:40 am, so it began. The road trip took longer than what we expected, it was around 5 hours because of traffic. I was exhausted.

After we arrive, we took a nap and were ready to go out. Around 9 pm we started to get ready and we were out by 11 pm. The night was pretty cool not gonna lie, the place was a bit rachet, but overall the night was good. The next day, as early as 7:40 am we were up. We were going to the Santa Fe open house. The open house was pretty nice. The college has way too much cool stuff, the ones that I would highlight are definitely the little zoo and the planetarium. After that, we went to take a fattttttt nap in the apartment. Later that day, my friend took me on a tour around Gainesville since it was my first time there. I really liked the place. Then we went to my friend's sister's apartment to watch the new pixar movie, which btw, I hated. That movie was ass. Next day we finally wake up late and did nothing for a while. Following to that, we went to eat at an amazing place called trixies, 10/10. Later on we went to a park at the everglades, it was so nice. I loved it.

The next day, we were dipping. We woke up at 6 am, and ended up leaving around 7:40. The ride was much better that day. Almost no traffic at all. We arrived Weston around 11:30ish.

And yeah, that was my trip to gville. okay bye.

we have a schedule

After we discussed a schedule that could fit us, as a group, we came up with a schedule. The thing is that the members of the band already had plans themselves. Some were going away, some had school because they go to a different school.

That was the original schedule that we had.

After we sent them that schedule, they rejected it for the reasons that I previously mentioned, they decided to send us a calendar of when they could be all available. This was perfect because we would work around that.
Those are the days they are available as a whole.

Based on that, we sent them a new schedule that they accepted and we are basically ready to work with it.

This is the new schedule:

Phone meeting: march 29 at 4pm

Photo Shoot: Sunday April 3rd

VIDEO RECORDING: April Sunday 3rd/ Tuesday 5th

that's it okay bye

el mal llamado concurso

so we basically came up with the idea of making a contest on Instagram in order to gain people for our music video. we thought this could be pretty cool and will bring engagement to the Instagram page. we would announce the contest on our Instagram stories and the steps would be the following:

1- Like the most recent post

2- Follow our account

3- Comment something you love about the band

4- Re-post one of our posts and tag our account

5- DM us with your name and phone number

and that would do it. i really think this is so cool. i've never done a contest before.

okay bye.

we might run into some issues

Okay so I'm leaving to go to Gainesville tomorrow, well, technically today but whatever. The point is that my group will not be in town all at the same time. Ana is going to Las Vegas on Sunday, Lander is going to LA on Wednesday, and I'm leaving today. Meaning that we might not do much for the project during spring break. This sucks because we were having actually good pacing about the project, It's okay, we will be fine.

okay bye
